    Container Village

    The team behind the innovative container environment consists of Thomas Pehrson, Anders Pedersen and Tobias Lasota. They met during studies and all had thoughts of engaging in entrepreneurship prior involving within this project.

    Anders (middle) got involved with an already existing concept, which introduced him to the potential of used shipping containers. He ended up developing the concept further with Thomas (left) and Tobias (right) and they participated in the Innovative Growth Program. The program provided the time and guidance they needed to realize their concept and establish the startup Container Village – which you can read more about by clicking here.

    HOP

    The team of HOP did not all have ambitions of becoming entrepreneurs, but their motivation for improving the wellbeing of the independent elementary school student, drove them to the establishment of their own startup.

    The guys, behind the company HOP are (from left to right) Mie Engsholt, Kasper Poulsen, Anne Bloksgaard Borg and Carina Lykke Svindborg.Together the team has gone through a personal development from being a student to becoming an entrepreneur. They have participated in multiple events at SEA, which have provided support in a safe environment.     Storm Design Studio

    The concept and product of Storm Design Studio derived from three students' bachelor project regarding improvement of a inconvenient working position for employees within a company working for the seafood and food processing industry. They now work full time developing it into a business.

They study Industrial Design on their 9th semester, where they participate in the Startup in Practice Program and are doing an internship in their own startup.     Hjælp andre startups

    Ahn Nguyen og Silpa Baburajan har deltaget i Scandinavian Growth Creators (SGC), hvor studerende bliver sat sammen i teams og matchet med en AAU-startup. De fortæller, at det blandt andet gav dem et spændende indblik i livet som iværksætter og givet dem mere lyst til at arbejde med iværksætteri.

    Idé til ny app

    Daniel Nielsen, der studerer Interaktive Digitale Medier, vinder første udgave af Health HUB Innovation Award for sin idé. Konkurrencen er et helt nyt initiativ, som Health HUB AAU har lanceret for at hylde den gode sundhedsfaglige idé og innovationspotentialet blandt alle AAU’s studerende.

    Daniels fik en idé til en mobil-app, som ved hjælp af persuasive design skal hjælpe ADHD-ramte voksne med at strukturere deres hverdag og samtidig gøre dem klogere og mere handlekraftige i forhold til deres egen diagnose. Læs mere om den her.

    Studerende fra AAU deltager i internationalt tværfagligt projekt

    Projektet, som de studerende har deltaget i, er forankret i FN’s verdensmål for bæredygtig udvikling, som passer godt sammen med AAU’s undervisningsmodel, problembaseret læring, hvor et virkeligt problem er omdrejningspunktet for den studerendes læreproces.

    Samtidig med at de studerende lærer en masse, resulterer projekterne i konkrete produkter og løsninger, som kan gøre en forskel for mange mennesker. De danske studerende har udviklet appen, EduCatador, i forsøget på at komme fattigdommen til livs, og den bliver lige nu bliver testet af de brasilianske skraldere.
